Manor farm owned by Mr Jones. The animals of the farm one day have a meeting held by Willingdon to talk an about a dream he had about a world where animals own it. Willingdon then dies shortly after. The animals who were at the meeting were inspired by Willingdon vision started to talk about killing Mr Jones and owning the whole farm on their own. Napoleon and Snowball, two pigs who put them in charge. Then one day the animals decided to kick Mr Jones and his men out of the farm and do so successfully. After this the animals rename the farm to Animal Farm.
The pigs were in charge as they are the smartest out of all of the animals. Napoleon one of the two leaders at Animal Farm started to be greedy and steal the cows milk and steal apples to only give the pigs of the farm and not the other animals.
After a while Mr Jones and his men return to the renamed Animal Farm and try to reclaim what is rightfully theirs. Mr Jones and his men are unsuccessful in their attack and Animal Farm is still in the hands of the animals. After this attack Snowball the other leader of Animal Farm decides Animal Farm needs a windmill but Napoleon disagrees and secretly gets a pack of dogs to kick snowball out of Animal Farm. This leaves Napoleon as the leader of Animal Farm. Napoleon then wants a windmill and says it was his own idea and no one else’s. It took nearly a year to make the windmill, then one day there is a storm and it destroys the windmill, Napoleon then blames Snowball and tells the animals to rebuild it.
Napoleon starts to become a dictator and then the animals start to get less food than usual, the food was going to the pigs. Months later the windmill is completed, then Napoleon started changing the rules in favor of the pigs.
At the end of the book Napoleon changes the name of the farm from Animal Farm back to Manor Farm.
